Purpose
Direct-current traction motor with centerline support suspension, compensated, is designed for М 62, 2М 62, 2ТЭ 10, 2ТЭ 116, ТЭМ 18 diesel locomotives. The motor is constructed with magnetic system modernization and application of “Н” heat resistance class insulation materials. The motors are operated successfully in Mongolian railways as part of М62 diesel locomotives with increased capacity diesel generator set, as well as the railways in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
